There is nothing worse than trying to brush through tangled hair. Especially when it comes to my daughter's hair. So, when we created this DIY hair detangler using essential oils, we crossed our fingers that it was going to work. Not only did it work, it is AMAZING! Plus, it includes five ingredients, and EVERYTHING I can pronounce!
(All ingredients can be added to an 8oz glass spray bottle.)
- Fill bottle 1/4 of the way with apple cider vinegar (so 2oz.)
- 1 tsp. Jojoba oil
- 10 drops of Lemon essential oil
- 10 drops of Lavender essential oil
- Fill the bottle with water.
Shake well. Then shake again before each use!
Apple Cider Vinegar is a natural conditioner. It helps to fight fuzz and may also have the ability to promote hair growth.
Jojoba oil is pretty close molecularly to the oil our scalp naturally produces. It also adds shine and elasticity.
Lavender Essential Oil helps with shine and reduce dryness. It also may help promote hair growth. It also makes it smell good!
Lemon Essential Oil helps with excess oily hair by bringing back a more natural ph balance. Plus, makes is smell good!
Thank you Cammy Hawn for sharing your detangler recipe!
